Many teachers realize that they have the desire to shape the minds of younger generations from the time they are young. It’s more than a job to them, they have a calling.
Not every teacher feels that way, however, and sometimes they may not be the best with the students. I think most of us have had that experience at some point or another where the teacher was more of a bully than a guide.
One father who experienced this with his children was Chris Piland. When the Pennsylvania teacher left a note on a test, it was nothing short of bullying.
The teacher wanted to make an example of the young child and embarrass him in front of his classmates. When the boy sent his assignment in, the teacher wrote: “absolutely pathetic” on top. The father would now like the teacher to be fired.
The teacher has been named as Alyssa Rupp Bohenek and she works at Valley View Elementary School. After this came up, she was publicly exposed for abusing her control over the children.
After calling the work pathetic, she wrote: “Absolutely pitiful, he answered 13 questions in 3 minutes! Sad.”
The test was to see how many subtraction problems could be done by the second-grader in three minutes. Piland’s son was the lowest going great in the class because he could only complete 13.
He ended up posting the assignment online in a photo and call the teacher out. He said: “All year long, my son, Kamdyn’s teacher, has been so nasty to him and me. I am absolutely incensed that someone would write this on a child’s work when he brings it home. Such fantastic inspiration.”
He also started a petition to get the teacher fired so that she couldn’t bully the other students any longer. Meanwhile, the superintendent had seen the test and scheduled a meeting to determine if termination was the right course of action.
