We have all become accustomed to hearing amazing, talented individuals and we may have no idea who they are before we hear them. We see them on videos online or perhaps on TV talent shows.
On occasion, there is someone who makes an appearance on the stage and their voice just carries us away. That was our experience when we first heard Susan Boyle singing.
From a TV talent show to worldwide fame, Susan Boyle and her amazing voice deserved all of the attention she got. It wasn’t long after she was first discovered that she was famous, and she has had many opportunities to perform over the years.
One of those opportunities came up when the 49-year-old singer stood on the stage before a 65,000-person crowd at the Papal mass at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. She was singing before the Pope arrived.
Susan was wearing a long black coat and heels and she sang the very song that got her started on Britain’s Got Talent. It was I Dreamed A Dream from the hit musical Les Misérables.
As she sang, the audience of Pilgrims were on their feet, waving flags in the air and loving every moment of what was unfolding in front of them. After the mass, she sang ‘Make Me a Channel Of Your Peace.’
The crowd enjoyed it, chanting “We love you, Susan”
