There are times when somebody becomes so famous that everybody seems to have an opinion of them. Some feel positive about the things they offer to society and others feel negative.
That is the case with Elon Musk, a multi-billionaire who is constantly in the news. He is known for many things, including owning Twitter, his rocket ships, Tesla, and his work with the government. It seems as if he has his hand in everything.
That is why so many people have an opinion on him, and very few people agree 100%. Check out the information below and you will see how people feel about this interesting individual.
1: He’s Disconnected From The Rest Of The World’s Reality
If I had as much money as he does, I think I’d use it for the whole world – climate change, aid to poorer countries for health care, and for aiding Ukraine – not rockets and buying Twitter. He could do so much with all that money. I think he doesn’t have a clue how the rest of us live. Sending people up into space while thousands die of starvation just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. He could do more.
Mostly indifferent. What does he actually do? We live in mostly different worlds. I’m always a bit confused by popular fads, especially those centering around this obsession with the aristocracy and social games which promote foolish notions. He’s not actively making my life harder and we are unlikely to engage directly, so why should I care?
I really don’t think about him, period. He’s in a completely different world/tax bracket than most of the people in the world. He’s one of those people who even if you had access to speak to, you [would] have absolutely nothing to talk to him about. He’s not relatable to us regular folk. He’s successful at what he does, but I imagine he is constantly surrounded by people yet is still completely alone.
2: He’s Just Doing What He Wants
His fortunes so he can spend it as he sees fit, he doesn’t owe us or anyone anything. I wish him luck!
I think he works hard to make his visions come to fruition. He is intelligent and not daunted by obstacles. He definitely could be a force for good.
Good for him, everything he does turns into a success!
He seems different. He runs through his own path. That is greatness.
3: He’s Horrible
A modern Edison, ego and all. Tesla would be disgusted.
I hate how everyone thinks he’s this brilliant scientist like a Tony Stark, he didn’t start Tesla, he took it.
Modern day Bond villain. Wouldn’t surprise me if he lived in a hollowed out volcano.
4: He’s Ahead Of His Time
I like that he thinks out of the box, he definitely appears ahead of his time. I think it would be neat to have a conversation with him.
Brilliant, humble, generous, visionary. What he has made possible in the space race with his own money is incomparable. I would love to meet him and applaud him in all his endeavors.
5: He’s An Intriguing Person
He’s very Intriguing and his intelligence is beyond my understanding. I respect the amazing things he’s done and has made an amazing amount of money too… pretty incredible really.
Mixed emotions. Sometimes I think he is bad. Others maybe he is good. Not sure.
He’s an interesting character & quite brilliant; I understand he’s autistic. I agree with with him on free speech.
I am actually quite intrigued by him. When I’ve heard some of the reasons behind what he does, I see a wonderfully autistic brain and someone with whom I could have 1000 references. There are things people talk about that he does that seem over the top, but when I see what’s behind them, when I dig a little bit deeper, I see some of the same issues with which I have battled over the years. Yes he has great big piles of money and a lot of that is from his big ideas, but he was probably the little boy who had meltdowns before anyone knew how to help. He probably experiences huge amounts of anxiety and all people see is this great big rich man. He probably wants constant structure because that is the way he feels safe. I want to ask him all about these things, but it’s probably not going to happen because I’ve never met the man and those are intimate thoughts to be having about a stranger.
Seems like an interesting guy. Supremely confident in himself.
6: He’s Made Smart Choices
I think he is great, he could have just sat back and been like most rich kids and never did anything with his life but instead he invested his life and money in science and has helped push mankind forward with his research and technology development.
He’s great. All the moves he’s making are good. Moving to Texas, preserving free speech by trying to buy Twitter. And he was not [a] spoiled brat. He works to get to where he is.
7: He’s Spoiled
Just another spoiled brat that never had to work for a thing in his life. I could live a lifetime in his shoes and he could not live a single day in mine.
He a super privileged man who has never had to work for anything in his life. While I applaud him helping the Ukrainians with satellite access, other than that he does nothing for mankind. People should not be allowed to have that much money and not be taxed appropriately.
I’ll bet his hands are soft and supple like a silk glove. He made his money on hard work, it was just other’s hard work. Spoiled rich boy.
8: He’s Setting Us Up For Disaster
Elon is a smart and yet very scary individual. Progressive. He does come up with great ideas but left in the wrong hands spells danger. One day Elon won’t be here and others will be left to take the reigns. I’m afraid of what he is starting. That part scares me!
If it ain’t broke, why fix or change it? Let’s fix the problems we got now before we start life elsewhere.
He seems an unpredictable individualist. Ergo, dangerous to those with a collective agenda. The way this world is going he could be a hero or an unfortunate casualty. If I had my life to live over I’d have gotten into tech and worked for him.
It’s not saving the world if your starting a monopoly. For those who don’t see it, google right to repair.
I do have to admit he does put his money where his mouth is BUT he is holding the [Neuralink] behind his back. It is scary to see so many different kinds of technology that can do evil and good alike in a rich mans hands. He can do a lot good but he can also do so much evil.
9: He’s A Genius
Genius! Richest man in the world who just wants to save the humans. On the other hand, I don’t trust anyone with that much money.
I think that he might seem odd to many but he is a genius so most people can’t relate to him and how he thinks. I like how he thinks outside the box to bring new and innovative things that can improve everyday life. I like that he wants to protect free speech and our democracy from the corrupt media .
A great engineer pushing the boundaries of physics. Love watching anything about him and all of his interviews. True genius pushing the electric car revolution forward and making space travel a dream again plus so much more..
An innovator who triggers those who do not innovate.
10: He’s Worked Hard For Everything He Has
Idk why people said he didn’t work. You can’t build & sustain what he has without working. People think business like Amazon & GE, etc are just magically built. It takes a strong work ethic to build & run things like this. It may seem easy but it’s not. He also has [Asperger’s] and accomplished all of that on his own… Musk is a genius physicist & is all about a clean environment which is why he got involved with electric car business. He lives beneath his means in a trailer & is against frivolous spending…
I feel that he has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is. He has had a rough life before his riches and in his growth has become the mad, evil genius that the world needs. No one is perfect…. just a hint of madness is what we need for innovation.
Honestly probably top 5 for the smartest men in the world… he seems like he is a genuine, caring and kind human and just wants to see kindness spread throughout the world and watch it thrive. He’s also an amazing and smart business man. He wasn’t born into wealth, he had to work for it. So he has my respect.
11: He’s Contributed Well To Society
A self-made billionaire who has created several businesses that have all improved our lives. I like him a lot. He isn’t politically correct, and he isn’t afraid to put his money where his mouth is
It’s hard to dislike a guy that has a vision to help humanity.
He’s great. All the moves he’s making are good. Moving to Texas, preserving free speech by trying to buy Twitter. And he was not [a] spoiled brat. He works to get to where he is.
He is one of the best employers in the country. His company pays their employees top dollar, with the best benefits.
Also very generous with donations.
12: He’s Reckless With His Money
He’s got so much money he’s literally just throwing it around. I think that’s all it amounts to, nothing much deeper than that.
Just another self absorbed billionaire that could do WAY more in this world but chooses to selfishly play with his new toys.
How much does one man need – you can only buy so much, eat so much – it is obscene!!!
13: He’s Fantastic
He is fantastic. I can relate with all of his dreams for humanity and our future. If I had his wealth, I would hope that my life would take a similar path as his.
We admire him greatly. He actually works very hard. Such an intelligent man.
I think he ROCKS! Proof that having Asperger’s doesn’t have to stop ANYONE! Money buys options, too, and I’m glad he’s wise with his funds!
I think he’s pretty badass to be honest. I also love how much he values freedom in this country and speaks out to help preserve it.
14: He’s Got Potential He Doesn’t Live Up To
He could do so much good with his wealth right now, but chooses not to.
WHO? Did he cure cancer? Did he solve child poverty? Did he help every low income family enter the middle class? Did he end homelessness? Did he help every veteran that was willing to serve when he was not? Then I repeat. WHO?
He really ticks me off. Why not take that money and feed the poor around the world. And help in Ukraine. It’s disgusting that he has that much money. Help people!!!
If he wants to be a champion for speech rights he should be buying out politicians, instead of Twitter. If this is about freedom of speech it will only apply to Twitter and not anywhere else. This is like buying Walmart so that shoppers can say what ever they want in the store without getting kicked out. Once your out everything will be the same.
I like he’s shaking up Twitter, but I really prefer if he would use it for cures of diseases or assist with cleaning up city blocks. So much good he could do for humankind.
15: He’s Irrelevant
I just don’t get why people think he’s so relevant, so what he’s a multi-billionaire?
I don’t believe he got where he is through hard work alone, behind every great fortune there’s a great crime.
No feelings he doesn’t affect me so I don’t really have an opinion.
When he pays my bills I’ll have an opinion on him. Until then, irrelevant.
