Many people have their ideas about the Los Angeles wildfires but sometimes, an idea may spark some talk that gets things done. Perhaps that is why people are now listening to what actor Henry Winkler has to say.
Henry Winkler is best known for his role on the sitcom, Happy Days. He played The Fonz, but he is not quite acting as cool when it comes to his anger about what took place during the recent Los Angeles fires. He feels that the disaster was caused by arson.
He shared the following on X and millions of people saw it: “There is an ARSONIST here in LA. May you be beaten unrecognizable!!! The pain you have caused!!!”
At first, many people thought that he was probably just rambling on and they didn’t give it much thought. When some video evidence came to light that showed people doing what he was saying, it started to click.
The post read: “People are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning urban areas of LA.” It received well over 6 million views and in the video, you can see people throwing flammable items onto a fire in Santa Monica, California. The flames were getting larger, even threatening to light some trees on fire in the area.
People are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning urban areas of LA. Saw this happen first hand at 302 Pico in Santa Monica. Called it in & fire dept & police responded. Stay safe and call in any activity ASAP. We don’t need more flames out here. pic.twitter.com/AZ4GLr6N3q

This clip is evidence that there are fires happening all around Los Angeles and they appear to have more than one root cause. There may be some individuals who are taking advantage of the chaotic atmosphere to spread their own chaos.
Los Angeles County reports that the wildfires were started by powerful winds and dry conditions. Looking at the pictures and videos from the fires, you can see just how devastating they are.
As of now, hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated and 11 deaths have been attributed to the fire. Thousands of structures have also been destroyed as a result of the various fires.
The National Weather Service is calling it a case of ‘weather whiplash’ and there certainly are a lot of high winds, along with dryness that is typical in California at this time of year.

As far as the arson that was posted on X was concerned, it is thought that the police and fire department have responded and the individuals involved are now in custody. That is all of the information that is being released at this time.
