I think that all of us have experienced the weight of bullying at some time in the past. It may happen when we are younger, and it can be difficult to handle.
When we get older, we hope that we get out from underneath that difficult situation but that is not always the case. In some instances, bullying may take place well into adulthood.
Unfortunately, that is what happened to the woman in the following story but it gets even worse. She was bullied by a family member, but she wasn’t going to let it go without a fight.
Patsy was 68 when she shared a picture on social media where she was in a swimsuit from her vacation with her husband, Donald, where they had a great time in Miami. This was their first trip as a couple, where they didn’t bring their children or grandchildren with them.
When Patsy checked the picture she shared, she noticed that she was not the same Patsy she remembered from a year ago. Her husband was different too. They noticed that they were getting older and older. That made them emotional.
Then she saw a comment from her DIL, Janice. She wrote about how did Patsy dared to share her wrinkled body in a swimsuit online.
Patsy was offended by her daughter-in-law’s comments under her picture. After she took a screenshot, Janice deleted the comment. That was suspicious.
Then she made a plan. She talked with Donald about their upcoming family gathering BBQ.
She then revealed her plan, after she showed the terrible comment from their DIL, Janice. They were going to invite everyone in their family and close circle to share the terrible face of their DIL.
Janice was praising Patsy with her fake words, and receiving a fake smile from Patsy. Things were about to get spicy.
Then Patsy gave a speech. She talked and shared some moments from her trip to Miami with her husband. Then it was time for Janice’s comment.
First, she showed her picture in the swimsuit. Janice praised the picture as she stated that Patsy was looking good in her swimsuit.
Then she showed the screenshot, where Janice made her terrible comment and deleted it immediately.
The whole room went silent. Revenge was achieved by Patsy. Everyone in the close circle and family saw the true face of Janice.
She was now excluded from each family gathering.
