Man Gets Hair Transplant And Now He Looks Like Megamind

For many of us, our hair really defines who we are. When our hair is doing well, we are happy but when we have a bad hair day, we just want to stay in bed.

I think that we have all had bad hair days at some point or another but it is nothing compared to what Kanah Flex experienced. Honestly, the swollen head that he experienced after undergoing a surgical procedure had him experiencing a bad hair week.

Kanah Flex underwent a popular hair transplant surgery recently at a London clinic. This is no small clinic but a few celebrities have also had their hair done here.

As an artist and dancer, he would often be busking but will after being discovered by FKA Twigs and Aaron Sillis in 2014, he started posting his content on TikTok. He also posted a video to update having the hair transplant done.

Rather than getting a lot of positive feedback many people were posting about how he appeared to look like Megamind, the popular cartoon character from the movie of the same name. Others said he looked somewhat like Squidward from Spongebob or Roger from American Dad.

Rather than running away with his tail between his legs, he decided to have some fun with it and made some jokes as well. He said: “I know I’m looking crazy, but trust the process. Right now, I’m looking like an alien.”

In another video, he showed what happened two days after the transplant took place. He said: “For anyone that’s gonna ask, no – I did not go to Turkey to get my hair done. I got my hair done in Wembley, to be exact. Kenton, Harrow.”

He said that he went to the clinic around 830 in the morning and had a consultation with the team. He signed the waiver, chatted with the doctor, and then the hair transplant took place.

Hair follicles were taken from the scalp at the back of his head, an area known as the ‘donor area’ they were then implanted on top of his head.

“My hairline was actually alright to be honest, it was literally just mainly my crown and my donor area,” Kanah continued. “If I brought my hairline forward it would have meant that they’d have to take more grafts – a graft is two hairs.

“I got 4,000 grafts done, so that means 8,000 hairs have been implanted into my head.”

Prior to the surgery taking place, he was given a buzz cut and was excited because he had never been balled before. He recalled how the anesthesia was administered several times around his head, saying: “I could just feel my head swelling, like a balloon. After a while I stopped feeling it.”

The swelling seems to have stuck around.

He did say that the procedure was easy and finished in around four hours. Since that time, he has been wearing a headband to keep the swelling from spreading to his face.

It is common to wear one of these head bands for about three days to keep the area stable and to reduce edema and bleeding.

As it turns out, it also makes you look like any number of different cartoon characters.
