Frankie Valli has been entertaining us for many years. As a singer with The Four Seasons, he certainly made a name for himself but even now that he is 90, he still is appearing on the stage.
When he recently appeared in Saratoga near San Jose, he was on stage giving an unusual performance. Fans were concerned about him because he was lip-synching and appeared to be fragile. Then again, he is 90 years old.
According to Valli’s Representative, “Frankie is doing just fine and is super happy to still be performing. The audiences are filling venues and enjoying some fantastic music.”
In other words, he is doing what he loves to do the most. He also is on a farewell tour with The Four Seasons, and it will be ending in 2025.
Frankie Valley got started in music in the early 1950s with a number of different bands. In 1960, he began performing with The Four Seasons, and they had a chart-topping hit in 1962, ‘Sherry’. Other big hits included “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Rag Doll.”
In a viral video of him singing recently, however, his fans began to get very concerned. It seemed as if he was only going through the motions but the crowd was still excited to see him on stage.
We are glad to hear that he is still doing well and we know that he can’t perform forever, but we will enjoy it while we are able.
