They Say This Preacher Is Elvis But He Denies It All

Elvis is one of those performers who has captured the minds and hearts of individuals around the world. Even though he has been gone for decades, many people still know his name and remember his music.

Ever since Elvis died in 1977, fans have been talking about the possibility that he is still alive somewhere. It was found in the tabloids almost every week and some people had some crazy ideas, and some of those ideas continue to last till the day.

This includes one preacher that people claim is Elvis. Bob Joyce not only sounds like Elvis, but many people say that he is going to admit that he has faked his death very soon.

The death of Elvis took place on August 16, 1977. He died of a cardiac arrest and almost 50 years have past, but that hasn’t stopped skeptics from continuing to talk about the possibility he is alive. Those fans just refused to let it go.

Most recently, they say that he is alive and doing well in Benton, Arkansas. They claim that he is living as Bob Joyce, a 72-year-old preacher.

When you look at Joyce, you can’t help but notice that he looks a lot like Elvis. In addition, he speaks like Elvis and sings with the same soothing voice.

It really got a start after a video showed up of Joyce singing the gospel song, ‘How Great Thou Art.’ This was originally recorded by Elvis in 1967 and many people rekindled their conspiracy theories, saying that nobody could sing the song like he did.

Many people were commenting on the video, saying that it would be impossible to imitate the king in such a way.

Then again, Bob Joyce has something to say about this as well. He claims that it just isn’t true.

“No, I’m not Elvis. Lots of people ask me that…I got started and I was trying to tell everybody, ‘No, I’m not Elvis.” This includes the fact that he is 20 years younger than Elvis, who would’ve been 89 in 2024.

If you would like to see the video for yourself, you can do so right here. You can then make the judgment as to whether Elvis lives or not.
