Jaclyn Smith’s Father Was Saved From Death So She Married The Surgeon

Celebrity marriages don’t always work out but sometimes, even famous people are able to find the love of their life. That is what happened with Jacqueline Smith.

Most people know Jaclyn Smith because of her acting abilities. Perhaps you can remember when she was on the television show, Charlie’s Angels, and she is a very familiar and beautiful face.

What many people don’t know about Jaclyn Smith is the fact that she had been married three times and was divorced three times. Eventually, however, she would find the love of her life and they would make a nice life together.

When Smith was introduced into the television show, Charlie’s Angels, she became famous very quickly. She even received a Golden Globe nomination for the work that she did.

After Charlie’s Angels was off the air, she went on to star in a number of movies but what she really wanted was to settle down and have a family. She also felt that it was important to get married before she had kids but she didn’t always make the right choices along the way.

Prior to the time that she was married to her current husband, she was married three times. She was married to actor Roger Davis from 1968 until 1975 and then Dennis Cole, who made a guest appearance on Charlie’s Angels came into her life.

Jacqueline and Dennis were married in 1978 but they separated in 1981.

Tony Richman was the next husband that she married in 1981. He was a filmmaker and it seemed as if everything was going well between the two of them. They had two children together and were starting a family, which allowed Jacqueline to focus on that part of her life.

Unfortunately, they would only last until 1989 and she would stay single until 1997. That was the year that she met Dr. Brad Allen.

She didn’t meet him in a traditional way. Rather, he had operated on her father and saved his life, and her mother wanted him to speak to Jacqueline after the surgery. He walked her to the parking garage in the hospital so she wouldn’t be alone.

She saw something special in Allen, something that she referred to as ‘purity of heart.’ They have been married for 27 years.

Smith felt that the most important thing in her life was to be a mother. She now is also a grandmother but being with a man who is right for her is also very important.

Allen became a stepfather to the children and he took them in as his own. That is when things took a bad turn in 2002, when Jaclyn Smith was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Fortunately, Jacqueline had been having regular mammograms so they were able to catch the cancer early. It was a small amount of cancer and although she was panicked, they were able to get through it.

She found it difficult to control her fear and she met with the surgeon on the same day. After she was able to calm down, she went out and called her family.

When Allen and her mother heard the news, they refused to believe it at first. Before long, they were with her in Los Angeles and realized it was a serious situation.

With her family beside her, she was able to get through the situation. She decided to go through a lumpectomy and eight weeks of radiation.

These days, she is living a good life. She is married to a man that she loves deeply and has her family by her side. We wish her many more years of love and happiness.
